Greatness and growth are brothers but No Nation attained greatness without practicable core values. A Nation like Nigeria cannot attain greatness without a practicable core values.
Several businesses are growing today but will never attained greatness while others in the same line of business have achieved so much and walking in greatness. The reasons for Companies growing but not walking in greatness are not far fetched. The Lack of practicable core Values.
Canada, Israel, Saudi, UK and US are great Countries today because of their practicable core values which the citizens practiced day in day out. Why Nigeria only rely on what other countries do without looking inward. Nigeria cannot be great without practicable core values.
In Nigeria today, all we were thought was to memorize and recite the national anthem and national pledge. Living a life that showcase the national anthem and pledge were never thought.
Someone will ask, How?
Our leaders are living outside the core values of Nigeria, they never created any channel of communicating the core values to Nigerian.
How do they expect sanity when their lifestyle, words and actions speak against the believe of the country.
For Nigeria to be great, we need Men and Women of strong WILL to drive our core values
The Nigeria core values - NATIONAL PLEDGE
- Pledge to Nigeria
- Faithful, Loyal and Honest
_ Serve with strength
_ Defend her Unity
- Uphold her Honor and Glory
- So help Me God
Because the Nigeria National pledge was given on the platter of gold, there was no value placed on them.
How many of us as parents ever took out time to teach our children the in-depth of our national pledge aside teaching them how to recite the pledge. the reason is not far fetched. Because we were never thought or told that our pledge is our Values. I challenge any parents today to come forth and deny this.
Our leaders are forcing compliance on us but they never live by what they preached.
They pledge to other countries
They are not faithful, loyal and honest in their dealings. if they were, no one will raise dust in this country
Their services is to their families, relatives and friends forgetting that they made a pledge to Nigerian.
When issues regarding the unity of Nigerians are raised they looked away. Because their pledge is to other countries, they are not willing to defend Nigeria Unity
How would they uphold Nigeria honor and glory when their Loyalty, Honesty and their pledge are to other countries
I'm still thinking, why are we a praying country. God won't answer as long as we're not in line with our core values which we have pledged God to help us with.
Until we begin to practice our core values day in day out, God won't come down to help us. Because we already have the solutions
The pledge was written in the days of our father/Leaders, but they can't communicate or practice the core values but expecting the young people to live and abide by them without proper communication
The future is tomorrow and not tomorrow. how can we build the best nation without a proper planning, without rules or core values to make our dreamed Nation come through?
it's high time we take our core values serious for us to build a better NIGERIA
